The property is entirely self-sufficient and off-grid, boasting an abundance of opportunities to get up close and personal with farm life. We have nine pet goats that live in the house paddock to welcome you, along with three friendly dogs, one cat, and a handful of chickens that lay the best fresh eggs for those yummy breakfasts.

Housekeeping notes
The Seven Hills Tallarook homestead is entirely off the grid; therefore, we ask guests to be mindful of their power consumption. Some things you can do to assist with this are turning lights and air conditioners off when you are not present and keeping showers to a minimum to preserve water-tank levels. While your comfort is our priority, we must work together to keep our property as eco-friendly as possible.
The property sometimes operates on bore water, especially during the summer months due to lack of rain. Don’t be alarmed – although the water can taste slightly salty due to its mineral density, it is completely safe and drinkable. We use the water for cooking, showers, in the toilets, and for tea and coffee. Each guest is supplied with one bottle of water per person and per night, but we suggest bringing extra water for your own peace of mind
Guest access
The entire property, apart from marked private areas, is available for guests to explore. Guests have private access to the pool and alfresco area. Our family lives on the other end of the homestead. While we are a working farm, you will have complete privacy and will not see us unless we are working outside with the animals or in the sheds.
